Nathan, tree surgeon in Barneveld
I am Nathan van Kleeff. My speciality is climbing: I go up the tree myself. I also come and look myself, and I tell you honestly what needs doing. Even when that is "leave it standing".
How I ended up in the trees
In the trade since 201610 rings, one per growing season
I was going to study nursing. In 2016 I took a gap year first and went to work for a tree surgeon in the meantime. That gap year never ended.
After that I did the tree care training at Helicon and got my ETW, European Tree Worker. Since 2020 I have worked for myself, here in Barneveld and the villages around it.
I do the work myself. I climb the tree instead of parking a cherry picker next to it, I saw electrically, and the prunings go through the chipper. On bigger jobs I work alongside a fellow tree surgeon, so there is always someone watching once the rope is up.
And yes, there has been a cat in a tree that could not get down again. It came out fine. That story is in one of the reviews below.
What you can count on
European Tree Worker, and insured
Tree care training at Helicon, and my ETW after that. I carry liability insurance.
My speciality: climbing
I go up the tree myself, no cherry picker. Your lawn and your driveway stay intact.
Electric equipment
I saw electrically, chip the wood on site and take the rest away.

By appointment at the tree, or send photos via WhatsApp and I will base the quote on those. - No cherry picker.
I climb, so your lawn and driveway stay intact. - Everything goes with me.
Prunings through the chipper, the rest I take away.
