1. Who I am

Nathan's Boomzorg, Renswoudsestraatweg 16d, 3772 MC Barneveld, Chamber of Commerce number 77117468, is responsible for the processing of personal data as described here. Questions: nathansboomzorg@gmail.com or 06 27 21 46 39.

2. What data I process

Only what you give me yourself. Through the request form: your name, phone number, your email address and town if you fill them in, which work it is about and what you tell me about the tree. By phone or WhatsApp: whatever you send me there, photos included. The form also saves a partial answer if you stop halfway, so I can see where people drop out; without a phone number I do not get in touch about that.

3. What I use it for

To answer your question, make a quote, do the work and invoice it. No newsletter, no advertising.

4. Where the form ends up

A request reaches me as an email (sent via Resend) and is stored in a Google spreadsheet that only I and my website manager Tielo Digital can see. The website runs at Netlify. These parties process data on my instructions.

5. Visitor statistics and cookies

I measure visits with PostHog, on servers in the European Union. I can see how many people look at which page, where they come from, whether the call, email or WhatsApp buttons are clicked and how far people get in the form. I get no names or addresses out of it, and nothing is sold or shared for advertising.

On your first visit I ask whether that may be done with cookies. Accept: PostHog sets a cookie on my own domain, so that on a later visit you count as the same visitor. Anonymous only: no cookies and no recognition between visits; the visit is counted through a daily encrypted code that cannot be traced back to you. The only thing your browser remembers then is your choice itself. If you choose nothing, "anonymous" applies after twelve seconds. At the bottom of every page there is Cookie preferences to change your choice; if you switch to anonymous after all, I erase what was there straight away. The site uses no other cookies.

6. How long I keep it

Quotes, invoices and the data that belongs to them for seven years, as the Dutch tax authority requires. Requests that do not lead to work I throw away as soon as they are no longer needed.

7. Photos of completed work

The portfolio shows photos of jobs, with no people in them and never more than the name of the town. Would you rather a photo of your tree was not online? Let me know and I will take it down.

8. Your rights

You may see your data, have it corrected or deleted, and object to the processing. Email nathansboomzorg@gmail.com. If you and I cannot work it out, you can lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.

9. Security

The site is secured with https and the form goes through its own secured route to my mail and spreadsheet. Do you think something is not right? Send me an email.
